The mission of the Records Office is to maintain accurate academic systems and records for individual students and the institution. The office staff will be glad to answer any questions you may have regarding transcripts, transfer information, grades, forgiveness clause or graduation. We are located on the first floor of the Information Sciences Building, Room 1050.
Graduation Information
Southwestern Illinois College confers degrees at the end of each academic term (Fall, Spring and Summer). Students who are planning to graduate in the following semester in which they are currently enrolled or who have completed coursework please visit the degree or certificate area of our website for instructions on how to apply for your degree or certificate. Summer and Fall degree completions, as well as candidates for Spring completion, are invited to participate in Southwestern's annual graduation ceremony, held each year in May.
Academic Information
Semester grades are issued after the close of each semester. Should you need information regarding academic standards, academic honors, forgiveness clause, academic honors, scholastic warning/probation/suspension, dismissal, attendance or student classification, visit the links provided.
Transcripts
Need to order a transcript? It is as simple as visiting your Student Center in eSTORM and making your request online. Please visit transcript information for the steps you can take to order an official transcript.
Transfer Credit

Request To Prevent Disclosure Of Directory Information
Under the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, you have the right to request that any or all of your directory information not be released to non-institutional persons or organizations. Please consider very carefully the consequences of a decision to withhold directory information. Should you decide that your directory information is not to be released, requests for such information will be refused.
A request must be submitted to the Enrollment Services Office within the first three weeks of a semester. This statement of nondisclosure will remain on record permanently unless a cancellation notice requesting not to withhold directory information is received in writing.
